With Newcastle now in the running though, it may well be mission impossible for the Hammers, what with the Toon’s wealth and current position in the Premier League table.
Missing out on Moffi to the Magpies would just be further evidence of how far we’ve fallen, and just how much they’ve progressed on to a whole new level entirely…
Newcastle to challenge West Ham for Moffi
The north east outfit are lining up a move to sing there Lorient forward.
That’s according to Ignazio Guenardi who claims that €30 million (£26 million) could be enough to get the deal done:
He possesses blistering pace and Breaking the Lines describe him as ‘rapid’.
Moffi possesses everything needed to be a hit in the Premier League. He’s strong, athletic and as mentioned above, has pace that will frighten defenders.
West Ham could have really done with signing Moffi this month, but it seems as though we have no chance with Newcastle allegedly now in the race.
And for just £26 million, the Hammers mat well regret not signing the Nigerian.
