West Ham are set to ramp up their interest in Armando Broja with the striker scheduled for further talks with Chelsea.
That’s according to a report from The Daily Mail who claim that the Hammers are ready to spend big on the Chelsea forward this summer.
Chelsea are still undecided what to do with the 20-year-old striker, however, and Thomas Tuchel could yet decide to keep him at Stamford Bridge.
One thing’s for sure, Broja would be an exceptional addition for West Ham and David Moyes should be going all out to bring him to the London Stadium.
Hopefully the Blues will decide to sell Broja. And the Hammers are allegedly ready to go all out for the Albanian ace…
West Ham ramp up interest in Broja
According to a report from The Daily Mail, Chelsea are set to hold talks with the striker about his future in West London.
And West Ham are apparently ready to splash the cash on the 20-year-old.
Why wait though? We should be going in with a big offer and see what Chelsea say.
What an unbelievable signing Broja would be for the Hammers. He’s literally the perfect striker for David Moyes’s system.
Moyes should be doing everything in his power to bring the absolute unit of a striker to the club this summer.
He has been described as an ‘exceptional’ striker by The Athletic. Meanwhile, One Football label him as ‘lethal’. Broja seems to be ideally suited to West Ham and considering the way in which he stretches the opposition with tireless runs into the channels, it’s easy to see why Moyes wants to sign him.
The Chelsea owned ace is strong, quick and is a really, really good finisher. Broja bagged nine goals and one assist in 36 games for Southampton last term (Transfermarkt).
It is his all around game that has been the most impressive thing about him though. The way in which he holds up the ball with his back to goal and brings others into play has been truly magnificent to watch.
Chelsea could demand as much as €70 million (£60 million) for Broja this summer according to a report from Tuttomercatoweb. Meanwhile, Football Insider claim that the centre-forward may cost around £50 million this summer.
We can’t see West Ham paying anywhere near that for the 20-year-old Albania international.
Perhaps a fee closer to £40 million would be more reasonable.
With West Ham set to ramp up interest in Broja, it could be an interesting couple of weeks ahead in the transfer market for the Hammers fans.
