Gary Neville has expressed concerns about Man United’s lack of incoming transfer business.

Manchester United are involved in the most important transfer window that I can remember.

The Old Trafford club needs to undergo a major overhaul this summer, in an effort to build Erik ten Hag a squad that can compete with the top sides in Europe.

While Manchester City, Liverpool and even Tottenham Hotspur are making signings, United have remained stagnant.

Watching our rivals, who were already good, take steps forward while we just sit there and watch is massively disappointing.

Once again, it’s a case of the powers-that-be twiddling their thumbs and not doing all they can to push deals through quickly.

United legend Gary Neville took to Twitter this morning to admit his own concerns about United’s lack of signings. Admitting that the Reds are still struggling to ‘get moving’.

Neville also states that the later you leave it, the harder it’ll be to get these players up to speed ahead of the new season.

To us, it just feels like the same old story. I genuinely got my hopes up when Ten Hag was appointed because I do believe he’s the right man to carry us forward.

However, the Dutchman needs help from the owners and board members. Right now, nothing has changed at that level and we’re still just miles away from the top sides in his country in that regard.

It feels like we’ve been linked with absolutely every single name under the sun, without really having any signings looking imminent.

I get the fact that United do not want to overpay for any signings, but sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and do what it takes to get these deals done.

As things stand, I’m with Neville. The concerns amongst supporters are real and we’re only a couple of weeks away from the first group of United players returning for pre-season.
