Erik ten Hag is in the building.

Well, we’ve all been excited for this moment and here it is. Erik ten Hag gave his first official club interview and met the media today, with the new era at Old Trafford now underway.

First and foremost, we all know it’s going to take time for Ten Hag to turn things around. It all starts with a major squad overhaul this summer, before a massively important pre-season tour of Australasia.

The serious stuff starts in August, with the manager at least looking to begin to implement his ideas and tactics before that start date.

Today, it all became very real with Ten Hag pictured proudly holding aloft a United jersey on the Old Trafford pitch! You absolutely love to see it.

This is a man who speaks incredibly well and you can already tell he’s feeling very positive about his chances at the Theatre of Dreams.

Check out the photo of Erik ten Hag holding his new jersey here:

First and foremost, you have to admit, Ten Hag is looking very suave in that suit! Rumour has it he was outside the front of the stadium taking pictures and interacting with some lucky fans, too! I absolutely love that about him and it definitely makes for a good first impression.

For the fans, it’s now about remaining patient. It can be tough in these situations. We’re so used to success that we want everything in the here and now, but that’s just not possible.

We’re going to need time to overcome all the issues we have and we have to give Ten Hag our full backing through the good times and the bad.

Either way, bring on this new era!
