Brentford and Tottenham Hotspur will face each other at the Brentford Community Stadium in the Premier League on 23rd April. It could be an entertaining fixture as the Lilywhites would like to make a strong claim for the fourth position in the PL this season.

The West London club have been on a great run off-late winning their last three fixtures in England’s top flight. During this run, they also managed to trash Chelsea by an emphatic scoreline of 1-4, certainly no small feat.

We were headed on a great run in the Prem until Brighton & Hove Albion recorded a slender 0-1 victory against us. We managed a resolute 2-0 victory in the reverse fixture against the Bees and would be hoping for a similar result in our next game.

Thomas Frank’s men are coming into this match with great momentum headed their way. They currently sit in 11th position on the PL table and have nothing to lose. They play a very compact system and are well drilled to soak up any pressure.

We saw Brighton using this tactic very well and the Bees could use the same formula to keep the prolific trio of Son Heung-Min, Harry Kane, and Dejan Kulusevski at bay.

Player to watch: Ivan Toney

His aerial presence and dominance in the air could be a big problem for our backline. Brentford have become adept at using him as a pivot to hold their attacking play and set up chances for other players. And some of the have recognized his abilities by adding him to the roster of MVP betting options.

His off-ball movement and physicality are something that has hurt opponents in the past. Our backline will have to be wary of his threat especially as Raya sprays the long balls down the opposition half.

Since coming to Hotspur Way, Antonio Conte has managed to turn around our fortunes ever since. Prior to the defeat against Graham Potter’s men, we were on an impressive streak of four wins in a row.

Not only did we collect three points in those fixtures but did so impressively, bagging three, five, and four goals against Aston Villa, Newcastle United, and West Ham United respectively before the humbling by the Seagulls. Let’s hope we can rekindle that form against Brentford.

The English captain has managed to reignite his spark under Conte. The 28-year-old striker has now bagged 15 goals and eight assists in 30 matches across all competitions under the Italian manager.

Kane’s ability to drop deep and play those exquisite passes adds a different dimension to his game. He has been the focal point of our attack for the last few seasons, and we hope that he can bring us some joy against the Bees.
