Sport Bild (via GGFN) report that Bayer Leverkusen want at least €75m to let French winger Moussa Diaby leave the club this summer.
The same outlet adds that Arsenal have concrete interest in the signing, along with the likes of Manchester United, Newcastle United, and AS Roma.
Diaby has a contract lasting until 2025 with no release clause, so Bayer Leverkusen are in a strong negotiating position.
But it seems the Bundesliga club are preparing for the possibility of Diaby’s departure, identifying Luis Sinisterra of Feyenoord as a replacement.
This isn’t the first time Arsenal have been linked with Diaby this season, with Patrick Berger of Sport1 reporting back in March that the Gunners held an interest in the winger.
Diaby has 16 goals and 13 assists in all competitions for Bayer Leverkusen this season, form which has seen him break into the France national team squad.
The 22-year-old earned his France debut in September, and he provided an assist in one of his cameo appearances in November, before making his first start against Finland. He was back in the squad again in March, featuring against South Africa.
The Bayer Leverkusen man is left-footed, but he’s very comfortable using his right. He can play on either wing or even centrally if necessary.
